Terms and Conditions for Dog Boarding Services at Jo’s Wonder Paws

1. General Information 1.1 These terms and conditions govern the provision of dog boarding services by Jo’s Wonder Paws (“we,” “us,” “our”) to the customer (“you,” “your”). 1.2 By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. 1.3 Our business operates in accordance with the laws of England.

2. Booking and Payment 2.1 A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 25%, as specified at the time of booking. 2.2 Full payment must be made no later than 1 day prior to the boarding start date. 2.3 We accept payments via cash or bank transfer. 2.4 Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds are subject to the following conditions:

• Cancellations made more than 30 days from the start of the dog’s stay will receive a refund (excluding the deposit).
• Cancellations made less than 30 days from the start of the dog’s stay are non-refundable.

3. Dog Health and Vaccinations 3.1 All dogs must be in good health and free from contagious diseases. 3.2 You must provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations, including but not limited to:

• DHP/DHPPi
• Lepto
• Kennel cough

3.3 We reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog without valid vaccination records. 3.4 Any pre-existing medical conditions or special needs must be disclosed at the time of booking. 3.5 We only accept spayed or neutered dogs. 3.6 All dogs must be microchipped in accordance with UK regulations.

4. Behaviour and Suitability 4.1 All dogs must be non-aggressive and socialised with other dogs and humans. 4.2 You must inform us of any history of aggressive behaviour, excessive barking, or other behavioural issues. 4.3 We reserve the right to refuse or terminate boarding for any dog that poses a risk to people, other dogs, or itself. 4.4 All dogs must complete a trial night stay before being booked in for a longer stay to ensure suitability. 4.5 All dogs must wear an identity tag displaying the owner’s name and address at all times during their stay, they will also wear one of our identity tags.

5. Drop-Off and Pick-Up 5.1 Dogs must be dropped off and picked up during our operating hours, as specified at the time of booking. 5.2 Late pick-ups may incur an additional fee. 5.3 If a dog is not collected within 7 days of the agreed pick-up date and no communication is received, we reserve the right to rehome the dog.

6. Food and Supplies 6.1 You are responsible for supplying enough food for your dog for the duration of their stay. 6.2 If insufficient food is provided, we will purchase additional food, and you are responsible for reimbursing the costs.

7. Dog Walking Services 7.1 Dog walks cancelled within 2 days of the scheduled date will be charged at the full price.

8. Liability 8.1 While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, we are not liable for:

• Injury, illness, or death due to pre-existing conditions or unforeseeable events.
• Loss or damage to personal belongings brought with the dog.

8.2 You are responsible for any damage caused by your dog to our property, staff, or other dogs.

9. Emergency Care 9.1 In the event of illness or injury, we will contact you or your emergency contact immediately. 9.2 If we are unable to reach you, we will seek veterinary care from your vet or our closest vet, Ark Vets Dronfield. 9.3 You are responsible for all veterinary costs incurred during your dog’s stay.

10. Data Protection 10.1 We collect and process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 10.2 Your information will only be used for the purposes of providing dog boarding services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

11. Complaints 11.1 Any complaints must be made in writing within 7 days of the incident. 11.2 We will aim to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.

12. Governing Law 12.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England. 12.2 Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

13. Agreement 13.1 By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
